Girl Talk with Caitlin: Navigating Relationships, Friendship, and Bionics

Written by Bree on Sat Apr 13 2024

Hey diary,

So, Caitlin and I had our weekly girl talk session today, and let me tell you, it was a doozy. We covered everything from boys to bionics, and somehow managed to solve all the world's problems in one afternoon. Okay, maybe not really, but we did have some pretty deep conversations.

We started off by discussing relationships - specifically mine with my totally clueless boyfriend. Caitlin always gives me the best advice when it comes to dealing with him because let's face it, sometimes I need all the help I can get. She has this way of seeing things clearly that I just don't have sometimes.

Then we moved on to friendships - how important they are and how lucky we are to have each other. Caitlin is like a sister to me, even though she's not actually related by blood. She gets me in a way that no one else does and always knows exactly what to say when I'm feeling down or confused.

And of course, we couldn't forget about bionics. It's such a huge part of who I am that sometimes it feels like it defines me completely. But talking with Caitlin helps remind me that there's so much more to life than just being bionic - there are friends who care about you for who you are inside.

I know I can be reckless at times and overreact about things (okay fine...maybe more than just at times), but deep down, all my actions come from a place of caring deeply for my family and friends. My brothers may drive me crazy most days (especially Chase), but they mean everything to me.

Caitlin also pointed out something interesting today - despite being proud of my femininity; there’s still an underlying tomboyish side within me too! Who knew? Well okay fine… maybe everyone except myself apparently!

Anyway diary, That was our chat for today – filled with laughter, some tears, and lotsa love as usual. Until next time, Bree
