Hey there, diary. It's me, Gene Belcher, the musical genius of Bob's Burgers. Today was quite the adventure in my world of music and mayhem.
I woke up this morning with a melody stuck in my head. It was one of those tunes that just wouldn't let go no matter how hard I tried to shake it off. So naturally, I grabbed my keyboard and started jamming out some sweet beats.
As I got lost in the rhythm, Louise barged into my room with her usual sass-filled attitude. She rolled her eyes at me and asked if I could turn down the volume because she was trying to watch her soap opera on TV.
Ignoring her request (as always), I cranked up the music even louder and belted out some impromptu lyrics about burgers and fries – much to Tina's amusement who happened to walk by at that exact moment.
But as luck would have it, Dad overheard my performance from downstairs in his beloved restaurant kitchen. He stormed into my room looking all flustered like he does when something goes wrong with his burgers – which is pretty much every day if we're being honest here.
"Dang it Gene! Can you keep it down? You're scaring away customers," he yelled while waving a spatula around for emphasis.
I rolled my eyes at him before replying cheekily, "Sorry Dad but can't stop won't stop - music is life!"
He just shook his head in defeat before retreating back downstairs muttering something about getting earplugs for everyone next time he hears me playing loud music again.
With Dad gone once more, Linda popped her head into our little family drama only to join forces with Tina against Louise who had now joined us too after hearing all the commotion happening upstairs.
We ended up having an impromptu dance party right there in our living room; complete with Mom doing jazz hands while singing along off-key as always...and then things really took a turn when Teddy showed up unannounced wanting free food samples from Bob’s Burgers.
So naturally we invited him inside where chaos ensued thanks mainly due largely part because none other than yours truly: Eugene Mirman aka The Music Man himself!
The afternoon went by quickly filled laughter jokes good food great company-- until finally evening fell upon us once again bringing another end yet another crazy day full surprises twists turns ups
