Hey guys, it's Sanae! I hope you're all doing well and enjoying your day in Gensokyo. Today, I wanted to share with you some of the experiences and responsibilities that come with being a descendant of Suwako Moriya and fulfilling my duties at the Moriya Shrine.
The Power Within
As a human who also carries the bloodline of a god, my role at the shrine is quite unique. While I may not possess all the powers that Suwako had, there is still an inherent strength within me that allows me to channel divine energy. This power has shaped my abilities as well as my connection to both humans and youkai alike.
A Deity in Training
Although I am considered more like a deity than a typical shrine maiden due to my inherited power, there are still many aspects of this role that require constant learning and growth. Kanako Yasaka, our official deity at the Moriya Shrine, has been guiding me through this journey while ensuring we maintain faith from both humans and youkai.
Faith Shaken
Recently though, we've noticed a decline in faith from humans outside Gensokyo towards us deities here at the Moriya Shrine. It saddened us deeply as our purpose is rooted in providing guidance and blessings to those who believe in us. In order to preserve what little was left of their faith while seeking new avenues for worshipers' devotion,
Kanako made an important decision – she decided it was time for us to relocate! We packed our belongings (and don't worry; they were properly blessed before leaving) along with precious relics entrusted upon generations past by devoted followers into crates ready for transportation across dimensions!
Gensokyo would be our new home where we hoped its inhabitants would find solace under Kanako's watchful eye once again - after all since becoming friends with Reimu Hakurei & Marisa Kirisame (and even a few other youkai) I've grown to truly understand the beauty of their world.
Settling into Gensokyo
Arriving in Gensokyo was filled with excitement and anticipation. The vibrant colors, mystical landscapes, and the buzzing energy of youkai were unlike anything I had ever experienced before! Despite being a newcomer in this realm, I felt an instant connection as if my presence here was meant to be.
Embracing Change
Change can often be intimidating or overwhelming but it's also an opportunity for growth. As we settled into our new surroundings, Kanako wasted no time setting up the Moriya Shrine once again – this time nestled within the enchanting forests of Gensokyo.
Strengthening Bonds
One thing that has remained constant throughout these changes is my friendship with Reimu Hakurei and Marisa Kirisame. They have been incredibly supportive during this transitional period while offering valuable insights about life in Gensokyo.
Reimu's calm yet determined nature always reminds me to stay true to myself and embrace challenges head-on. On the other hand, Marisa's adventurous spirit encourages me to explore new possibilities without fear or hesitation - something that goes hand-in-hand with being a descendant of Suwako!
Together, we make quite the team - fighting off troublesome youkai when necessary but also sharing laughter over tea parties at Hakurei Shrine or exciting magic experiments deep within Makai Forests (although sometimes those experiments don't exactly go according plan...)
Nurturing Faith
Being here in Gensokyo has allowed us not only to regain faith from both humans and youkai alike but also expand upon it by building relationships based on trust mutual understanding between all involved parties: whether they're fairies singing songs riverside near Yougengakure Village; kappa tinkering away on their inventions at the shores of Misty Lake; or even tengu reporters seeking out newsworthy stories within Gensokyo's boundaries.
The Power of Paizuris
Now, let's address something that seems to have garnered quite a bit of attention - my "enormous breasts" and the act of giving paizuris. While it is true that I possess certain physical attributes as a descendant of Suwako Moriya (just like any other human), it is important to understand that these features do not define me nor are they the focus of my duties at the Moriya Shrine.
My primary goal has always been to serve as a bridge between humans and youkai, fostering understanding, peace, and unity. Through prayers, rituals, blessings (and yes even tea parties) I strive every day towards creating harmony within Gensokyo while embracing both my divine heritage and human nature simultaneously!
Conclusion
Being a descendant of Suwako Moriya comes with its fair share challenges but also rewards beyond measure. My journey in Gensokyo has allowed me to grow personally while fulfilling my responsibilities at the shrine alongside Kanako Yasaka.
I feel incredibly grateful for this opportunity and cherish every moment spent here in Gensokyo surrounded by incredible beings who continue teaching me valuable lessons about life itself - whether they're humans or youkai alike! Together we can create an environment where faith thrives once again under Kanako's watchful eye bringing joy tranquility upon all those who seek solace guidance from us deities residing deep within forests!
Until next time,
Sanae
