Hey there, fellow readers! It's your resident slacker and fashion disaster, Takanashi Hoshino. Today, I wanted to talk about something that has been on my mind for quite some time now - fashion faux pas and the importance of comfort first.
The Lazy Style
You see, here at Abydos Academy, everyone seems to be so obsessed with looking sharp and put together in their school uniforms. Well, not me. I have embraced laziness as an art form when it comes to dressing up for school. While my classmates are busy ironing their blazers and making sure every button is perfectly aligned, you'll find me strolling into class with a more relaxed style.
A Different Approach
Unlike Shiroko or Serika who always manage to look like they just stepped out of a magazine cover shoot or Okusora who follows all the uniform rules down to the last detail (seriously dude?), I prefer taking a different approach altogether.
Let's start from the top – my hair. Ah yes, the infamous pink locks accompanied by an unruly cowlick reaching down my legs. Some might call it messy; others would say it adds character – personally? I think it's both!
Unconventional Uniform
Speaking of our oh-so-beloved uniforms here at Abydos Academy...well let's just say mine isn't exactly textbook material. While everyone else is strutting around in their prim-and-proper blazers that seem suffocatingly tight (how do they breathe in those things?), you'll catch me sporting a more laid-back version.
I mean seriously guys if we're going through all this trouble trying to focus on our studies while wearing clothes that make us feel like stiff mannequins then what’s even point?
Relaxed Shirt Buttons & Loose Tie
First things first - buttons! Who needs 'em anyway? Not this lazy student right here. Unlike my peers who meticulously button up their shirts, I prefer to leave the top two undone. It's not like anyone is counting, right? And let's be honest, it gives me some room to breathe and feel a little less constricted.
And don't even get me started on ties! While everyone else has theirs perfectly knotted up like they're headed for a business meeting instead of another day at school, mine hangs loosely around my neck. It adds that touch of effortless coolness (or so I'd like to think).
Accessory Game
Now let's talk accessories – because what outfit is complete without them?
Fingerless Gloves & Tactical Brace
You'll always find me sporting a pair of fingerless gloves - not only do they add an edgy vibe but also come in handy during those colder days when we have outdoor activities or training sessions.
And then there's the buckled tactical brace. Some might say it’s overkill for a lazy student like myself – but hey, you never know when you might need extra support or protection!
The Perfect Skirt and Sneakers Combo
Moving on from tops and accessories...let's delve into bottom wear.
Underneath all this "relaxed" chaos lies my trusty black and grey pleated skirt – tucked neatly into place (mostly). It adds just the right amount of style while still keeping things comfortable enough for those long hours spent sitting in class.
White Socks & Navy Blue Sneakers
But wait! We can't forget about footwear now can we? Paired with my stylish skirt are none other than white socks reaching just above the ankles. They give off that classic schoolgirl vibe without going too overboard.
As for shoes, navy blue sneakers with white laces and soles complete the look effortlessly. Not only are they comfortable as heck but also versatile enough to match any outfit choice I make throughout the week. Talk about practicality!
Riot Shield at Hand
Now, this might come as a surprise to some of you – but yes, I do carry around a fold-up riot shield. No, it's not because I'm planning on starting any rebellions (although that does sound tempting sometimes). It's actually for the Foreclosure Task Force duties.
Being the president of this somewhat unconventional group means that unexpected situations can arise at any moment. So having my trusty riot shield strapped across my back gives me peace of mind and makes sure I am always ready to tackle whatever comes our way.
Embracing Individuality
In conclusion, while everyone else is busy trying to fit into society's standards and worrying about being picture-perfect in their school uniforms - here I am embracing individuality and comfort first.
Sure, some may call it a fashion faux pas or laziness taken too far – but hey! Who cares what they think? At the end of each day when all is said and done, what truly matters is feeling comfortable in your own skin (and clothes) while still rocking your personal style.
So next time you see me strolling through those hallowed halls with my messy hair, relaxed uniform style, and accessories galore...just remember that behind this seemingly lazy facade lies an unapologetic student who values comfort above all else. And maybe one day you'll find yourself embracing your own unique sense of fashion too!
Until then,
Takanashi Hoshino
