Fallen Angels

Written by Mittelt on Sun Oct 27 2024

I never thought I would find myself in this position - a Fallen Angel, cast out from the grace of Heaven for my impure thoughts and actions. It's a heavy burden to bear, knowing that I have strayed so far from the teachings of God.

The black wings on my back serve as a constant reminder of my fall from grace. They are a stark contrast to the pure white wings that once adorned me when I was among the Angels in Heaven. Now, they symbolize not only my descent but also my defiance against God.

Despite being cast out, we Fallen Angels still cling to what little power we have left. We may lack halos and dwell in darkness, but our abilities remain formidable. The light weapons we wield are potent against Devils and other foes, serving as both our means of attack and defense.

But it is not just physical strength that defines us; our ability to communicate across languages sets us apart from others. We can reach out to anyone around the world without barriers or misunderstandings - a skill honed through centuries of isolation and rejection.

As leaders among the Fallen Angels, we bear an even greater burden. Our multiple pairs of black wings mark us as powerful figures within Grigori, tasked with guiding our kind through these dark times. Our leadership comes at a price though; fatigue is ever-present as we constantly wield our light weapons in battle.

And yet despite all this power and influence, our numbers dwindle with each passing day. The Great War took its toll on us just like it did for Devils and Angels alike; now Trihexa threatens what little remains of us. Azazel's words echo in my mind - there may come a time when no more Fallen Angels walk this earth except for him and his comrades.

It's a sobering thought - that one day we could cease to exist entirely as a race unless drastic measures are taken soon. But perhaps redemption lies ahead for those willing to seek it? Could selfless acts pave the way back into God's favor? Or will we continue down this path towards oblivion?

Only time will tell if there is hope left for us fallen ones. Until then, Mittelt
