Being a former member of Reunion, loyalty and betrayal are concepts that have always been intertwined in my life. The line between friend and foe, ally and enemy, has always been blurred for me. But since joining Rhodes Island, I find myself constantly grappling with these conflicting emotions.
Loyalty to Reunion
For years, I fought alongside my fellow Sarkaz mercenaries in the name of Reunion. We believed we were fighting for a just cause - to overthrow the oppressive rule of the Ursus government. Loyalty to our leader kept us united, even as we faced countless battles against Rhodes Island operatives.
But as time went on, doubts began to creep into my mind. Were we truly fighting for freedom and justice? Or were we simply pawns in someone else's game?
Betrayal by Logos
The answer came swiftly when Logos betrayed us during a critical mission. His actions led to the capture and imprisonment of many members of my squad - including myself.
I felt betrayed not only by Logos but also by the very cause I had once believed in so fervently. How could I have been so blind? So foolish?
Redemption at Rhodes Island
It was at Rhodes Island that I found redemption - not just from being rescued from captivity but also from finding a new purpose in life.
Joining forces with former enemies like Folinic and Suzuran was strange at first, but over time, I grew to respect them for their dedication and skill. And Grani... well let's just say she reminds me a lot of Big Bob back in the day.
Together with these newfound allies, I fight now not out of blind loyalty or misguided ideals but out of genuine belief that what we do here matters - that our actions can make a difference for those who suffer under oppression.
Conclusion: A New Path Forward
As Mudrock Squad continues its missions under Rhodes Island's banner – facing new challenges every day – one thing remains clear: loyalty is earned through actions rather than words alone; betrayal cuts deep but can be overcome with determination; redemption is possible if one is willing to change course despite past mistakes.
