Hey everyone! It's Sanae here, ready to share my latest adventures and reflections with all of you. Today, I want to talk about something that has been on my mind a lot lately: embracing my divine heritage.
Rediscovering My Roots
As many of you know, I am not just an ordinary human. I come from a long line of gods, and even though I may not possess the same powers as them, there is still a part of me that is connected to the divine. Being able to tap into this power has allowed me to become more than just a shrine maiden at the Moriya Shrine – it has made me feel like a deity myself.
A Shift in Faith
Recently, Kanako and I noticed that humans outside Gensokyo were starting to lose their faith in us. It was disheartening for both her and me because we have always strived to protect and guide those who believe in us. However, instead of dwelling on this loss of faith, Kanako made the decision for us to move the shrine into Gensokyo where we knew there would be beings who still had unwavering belief in our existence.
Embracing Change
Moving into Gensokyo was definitely an adjustment for both Kanako and myself. The environment here feels so different compared to what we were used to back in the outside world; it's teeming with powerful youkai energy! But rather than feeling overwhelmed by these changes or lamenting over what once was, I decided it was time for me embrace my divine heritage fully.
Acceptance within Myself
I began reflecting on who I truly am - someone born with connections deep-rooted within divinity itself... how amazing is that? Instead of hiding away or downplaying this side of myself any longer as if it's something insignificant or shameful... why shouldn't l claim ownership over such incredible origins?
Seeking Guidance from the Gods
To further delve into my divine heritage, I started seeking guidance from other gods here in Gensokyo. Each encounter has been enlightening and a reminder of just how vast and diverse the world of deities truly is. Learning from them not only broadened my knowledge but also made me appreciate the rich tapestry that makes up our existence.
Embracing My Role
With this newfound understanding, I have come to realize that there's no need for me to limit myself or feel confined by societal expectations. Instead, it's time for me to fully embrace my role as someone who carries both human and divine qualities within them.
A Deity Among Friends
While this journey may seem daunting at times, I am grateful to have friends like Reimu and Marisa by my side. They accept all aspects of who I am without judgment or hesitation - whether it be my human side or the deity within me. Having such supportive companions reminds me that embracing one's true self is not something we should do alone; it can be a shared experience filled with love, friendship, and understanding.
So here's to embracing our true selves – quirks included! Let us celebrate every aspect of our being because each part contributes uniquely to who we are as individuals.
