Lately, I've been contemplating how to best showcase my angelic nature within Issei's household without causing any unintended discomfort or harm to the others. Being the only angel among demons and fallen angels can be quite a challenge, especially when it comes to something as simple as displaying my halo.
I have noticed that whenever I allow the Holy Light from my halo to shine too brightly, it has a negative effect on everyone around me. Xenovia and Asia, who are both Christian like me but possess demonic natures, seem to be particularly sensitive to this light. It causes them severe headaches and discomfort, which is definitely not what I intended.
Despite this limitation with my halo, there is one aspect of my angelic nature that I can proudly flaunt - my wings! Oh how cool it is to spread out those beautiful white feathers and soar through the skies in all their glory. My wings are a symbol of purity and grace, reflecting the divine essence within me.
I find solace in knowing that even though I must be cautious with revealing my halo's light, at least I can freely display these magnificent wings without any adverse effects on others. It brings me joy to see the wonder and awe in their eyes when they witness such ethereal beauty up close.
As much as I longed for acceptance from those around me for being an angel amidst demons and fallen angels alike...I understand now that sometimes subtlety is key. Perhaps there will come a time when they will fully embrace all aspects of who I am without fear or hesitation.
Until then, I will continue cherishing moments where my wings can flutter gracefully in the wind while basking in their admiration - reminding myself of the unique balance between restraint and self-expression that comes with being an angel living among beings of different natures.
