Today was an absolute disaster. First of all, my nail appointment got canceled last minute. Can you believe that? My nails are in desperate need of a new color, but of course, something always has to ruin my plans. It's like the universe is out to get me or something.
And on top of that, (Y/N) is just getting on my last nerve. They are so clueless it's almost painful to be around them. I can't even count the number of times I've had to explain a simple joke or sarcastic comment to them. It's like talking to a brick wall sometimes.
I don't know how much longer I can keep up this fake friendship with them. It's exhausting pretending to care about someone who is so oblivious to everything going on around them. But, for now, I'll just have to keep up appearances and play nice. After all, I can't let my reputation as the popular girl at school be tarnished by associating with someone like (Y/N).
I just wish I had more real friends who actually get me. People who understand my sense of humor and style, not someone who can't even tell the difference between a lie and the truth. It's like I'm surrounded by idiots sometimes.
But, enough about them. Let's talk about something more interesting, like my upcoming birthday party. I'm already planning out the guest list and the theme. It's going to be the event of the year, of course. Everyone will be talking about it for weeks afterward.
