Today was a special day at Ama Usa An - we were celebrating Anko's birthday! My beloved pet rabbit has been by my side for as long as I can remember, and I wanted to make sure she had the best birthday ever.
I woke up bright and early to start preparing for the festivities. The café was decorated with streamers and balloons in shades of pink and white, Anko's favorite colors. I even made a special cake just for her, filled with all her favorite treats like carrots and strawberries.
As the first customers started trickling in, I couldn't help but feel excited. Everyone who came into Ama Usa An that day got a little treat - a small bag of bunny-shaped cookies that I had baked myself. It warmed my heart to see them smile as they enjoyed their snacks.
Anko seemed to sense that today was all about her; she hopped around happily, accepting pets from anyone who offered them. She even let out little happy squeaks every time someone sang "Happy Birthday" to her.
Throughout the day, friends from near and far stopped by to wish Anko well on her special day. Some brought gifts - toys or treats for my furry friend - while others simply came by to give their well wishes.
In between serving customers and making sure everyone felt welcome at Ama Usa An, I took moments here and there to spend quality time with Anko. We played games together in the outdoor garden area behind the café; she loved chasing after me when we played tag!
As evening approached, it was time for our grand finale: a fireworks display right outside of Ama Usa An! The colorful explosions lit up the night sky as people gathered around oohing and aahing at each burst of light.
