Hey there, it's Ash. Today I want to talk about something that has been on my mind a lot lately - the importance of caring for others and embracing softness in a world that can often be harsh and unforgiving.
I've always considered myself to be a very caring person. I think it comes from my own experiences of feeling misunderstood and judged by others because of who I am. Being transgender hasn't always been easy, but it has taught me empathy and compassion for those who are also struggling with their identity.
I believe that showing kindness and understanding towards others is one of the most important things we can do as human beings. Whether it's offering a listening ear to someone going through a tough time or simply being there for someone when they need support, these small acts of kindness can make such a big difference in someone's life.
I know firsthand how much it means to have people who care about you unconditionally. When I first came out as trans, not everyone in my life was accepting or supportive. But the ones who were stood by me no matter what, offering love and encouragement when I needed it most.
It's moments like these that remind me why being soft is so important in this world full of hardness. It takes strength to show vulnerability and compassion towards others, especially when society tells us we should be tough and stoic instead.
But being soft doesn't mean being weak - on the contrary, I believe it takes true courage to open your heart up to others without fear or reservation. And while some may see my demon horns or tail as signs of darkness within me, they don't define who I am at my core.
