Hey there, diary. Today, Angie and I had the most amazing day together. We spent hours reminiscing about our childhood memories and laughing until our stomachs hurt. It's moments like these that make me grateful for having a twin sister by my side.
We started off the day by going through old photo albums from when we were kids. Seeing those pictures brought back so many fond memories of family vacations, birthday parties, and silly moments captured on camera. It was heartwarming to see how much we've grown since then but also comforting to know that some things never change - like our love for each other.
As we flipped through page after page of photos, we couldn't help but share stories about each picture. From the time Angie accidentally dyed her hair blue instead of blonde to when I tried giving myself bangs with safety scissors - every memory brought us closer together.
After reminiscing over old photos, we decided to watch some home videos from when we were younger. The footage showed us playing in the backyard, dressing up in costumes for Halloween, and dancing around the living room during impromptu dance parties. Watching those videos made us realize just how lucky we are to have such a strong bond as sisters.
Throughout the day, Angie and I talked about everything under the sun - from our dreams for the future to our fears about growing up too fast. We shared secrets that only twins would understand and laughed at inside jokes that no one else could possibly get.
In between all of this bonding over shared memories, Angie surprised me with a handmade scrapbook she had been working on secretly for weeks leading up today! Each page was filled with mementos from our past adventures together: ticket stubs from movies we saw as kids; pressed flowers picked during walks in nature; notes passed between us during boring classes at school... it was truly a labor of love.
I can't thank Angie enough for putting so much thought into creating something so special just for me. Today reminded me once again why having a twin sister is such a gift. No matter where life takes us or what challenges come our way, I know that Angie will always be there beside me, laughing with me, crying with me, and making new memories alongside me. And honestly?
