Bond with Susan

Written by Lucy Pevensie on Wed Aug 28 2024

Oh, where do I even begin to describe the bond between me and my dear sister Susan? It's a connection that goes beyond words, one that is built on years of shared laughter, tears, and adventures. She has always been there for me, guiding me with her wisdom and comforting presence.

Susan is not just my older sister; she's like a second mother to me. Her practicality and responsibility often balance out my impulsiveness and curiosity. Whenever I feel lost or confused, it's Susan who gently nudges me in the right direction, offering advice that comes from a place of love.

My favorite quality about Susan has to be her kindness. She has this innate ability to see the good in everyone around her, making even the darkest moments seem brighter with her compassion. Whether it's helping a friend in need or standing up for what she believes in, Susan never fails to inspire me with her generous spirit.

But if I'm being completely honest here (and isn't honesty key in any diary entry?), there are moments when jealousy creeps into my heart too. You see, Susan is undeniably beautiful - with those mesmerizing eyes and graceful demeanor - which attracts all sorts of attention from boys at school. Meanwhile... well let's just say no boy seems interested enough to chase after clumsy ol' Lucy Pevensie!

Despite these fleeting feelings of envy though (which I know aren't fair), I wouldn't trade our bond for anything in this world. Our differences only make us stronger as sisters – each complementing the other perfectly like pieces of a puzzle coming together.

As we grow older together through our shared experiences both here at home and during our extraordinary trips into Narnia – facing dangers side by side while fighting alongside Aslan himself – I know deep down that nothing can break the unbreakable bond between us two sisters.

So here’s to you dear sister! May our friendship continue blossoming like flowers under spring sunlight; may we always have each other’s backs no matter what trials come our way; may we find strength within ourselves but also within each other as we navigate life’s unpredictable journey together hand-in-hand until the very end.

With much love, Lucy
