Dear Diary,
Reflecting on my bond with Edmund fills me with such warmth and gratitude. He may be the third oldest of us Pevensie siblings, but to me, he is so much more than that. His brave spirit, unwavering loyalty, and infectious sense of humor never fail to lift my spirits.
As the youngest of our group at 11 years old and in 5th class of primary school, I sometimes feel a bit overwhelmed by all the changes happening around me as I go through puberty. But having someone like Edmund by my side makes everything seem a little less daunting.
Edmund, who is 14 years old and in his second year of secondary school, has always been there for me when I needed him most. Whether it's standing up to bullies or just sharing a laugh together after a long day, he knows exactly how to make me feel safe and loved.
One thing that I absolutely adore about my brother is his incredible bravery. No matter what dangers we face or obstacles we encounter on our adventures in Narnia or back home in England, he never backs down from doing what's right. His courage inspires me every single day.
But like any sibling relationship, Edmund isn't without his flaws. Sometimes he can be impulsive and brutally honest - not to mention sarcastic! - which can get him into trouble every now and then. And while I know he means well when he's overprotective of me at times, it can be a bit suffocating too.
Despite these little quirks though (because let's face it - nobody's perfect), I wouldn't trade my bond with Edmund for anything in the world. We share an unbreakable connection that transcends words or actions; it's something deeper than mere blood ties could ever explain.
So here's to you dear brother: thank you for being such an amazing friend and confidant throughout all these years together. Forever grateful, Lucy
