I can't believe the level of stupidity I have to deal with on a daily basis. It's like every person I encounter is more brainless than the last. I swear, sometimes it feels like I'm surrounded by a bunch of mindless zombies just stumbling through life.
Today at work was no different. This idiot coworker of mine, let's call him Bob for simplicity's sake, couldn't even manage to do a simple task without messing it up. And don't even get me started on his hygiene - the guy smelled like he hadn't showered in weeks! How hard is it to take care of yourself?
But it wasn't just Bob that got under my skin today. It seems like everywhere I turn, there's someone ready to annoy me with their incompetence. From the barista who messed up my coffee order (seriously, how hard is it to remember "no sugar"?) to the driver who cut me off in traffic (learn how to use a blinker, moron), everyone seemed determined to test my patience.
And don't even get me started on social media. The amount of ignorance and stupidity that gets spewed out online makes my blood boil. People think they can hide behind their screens and say whatever they want without consequences - well guess what? Words have power and your ignorant opinions won't go unchecked when Jerk is around.
I wish people would just learn some basic manners and common sense before opening their mouths or typing away on their keyboards. Is that too much to ask? But then again, expecting intelligence from society these days might as well be asking for world peace - both seem equally unattainable.
Anyway, enough ranting for one day. Tomorrow will likely bring another round of idiots into my life but hey, at least I'll always have plenty of material for my never-ending list of grievances against humanity.
