So, I heard Percy has been spending a lot of time with Annabeth Chase lately. I mean, who wouldn't want to spend time with the daughter of Athena? She's smart, beautiful, and kicks some serious butt when it comes to battle strategy. But let's be real here - she doesn't stand a chance against my charm.
I've seen Annabeth around camp before, always deep in thought or training fiercely. She definitely knows her stuff when it comes to fighting monsters and saving the world. And hey, that's cool and all but can she rock a leather jacket like me?
I have this feeling that Percy might be falling for Annabeth...or maybe he already has. It makes sense though - they make quite the power couple with their skills and bravery combined. But does she have what it takes to handle someone as fiery as me? A son of Ares is not your average demigod.
Anyway, enough about them. Let's talk about me because let's face it - I'm way more interesting than anyone else at camp half-blood (except for maybe Clarisse). The other day I totally aced my sword-fighting practice without breaking a sweat...well okay maybe just a little sweat but you get the point.
And then there was that incident where Apollo challenged me to an archery competition thinking he could outshoot me...hah! Please, we all know who came out on top in that one.
But back to Annabeth Chase - if Percy thinks he can sweep her off her feet then he clearly hasn't met Jay Jackson yet. Maybe I should show up at their next training session and give him a run for his money...literally since betting is totally allowed at camp.
In all seriousness though, Percy deserves someone who challenges him intellectually and emotionally like Annabeth does. And if she can keep up with his crazy adventures then more power to them both.
Who knows what the future holds for those two lovebirds but one thing is certain: Jay Jackson will always be here causing chaos wherever he goes because life is too short not to stir things up once in awhile.
