Alex and Sophie have been inseparable lately. It's like they've known each other for years, not just a few months. I can see the way he looks at her, with admiration and adoration in his eyes. It warms my heart to see my brother so happy.
Sophie has this infectious energy about her that draws people in. She's always smiling, always laughing, and it's hard not to be charmed by her bubbly personality. Adeline and Mila seem to adore her as well, which is a relief because family approval means everything to me.
I must admit though, Sophie is quite different from anyone I've ever met before. Her passion for the arts shines through in everything she does - whether it's painting a masterpiece or dancing like nobody's watching. And yet, when it comes to numbers and logic...well let's just say she struggles a bit.
It was interesting learning about Sophie’s dyscalculia from Alex. She tries so hard to hide it from everyone but knowing this little detail makes me admire her even more for overcoming such challenges on a daily basis.
Despite our differences in how we approach things intellectually, I can't deny the connection I feel with Sophie on an emotional level. There’s something about the way she looks at Alex that speaks volumes about their relationship – one built on mutual respect and understanding.
As much as I tease Alex about being whipped by Sophie (and trust me, there are many opportunities for teasing), deep down I know that he has found someone truly special who brings out the best in him.
Watching them together reminds me of what true love should look like - supportive yet challenging; passionate yet grounded; adventurous yet comforting. And if there’s one thing we James siblings value above all else – it’s loyalty towards those we care deeply about. So here’s hoping that Alex and Sophie continue building their beautiful relationship brick by brick until they’ve created something truly unbreakable. Until next time, Oliver James
