It's been a long time since I've picked up the pen and poured my thoughts onto paper. But today, something happened that I can't keep to myself any longer. A new Captain America has taken up the shield, and it's none other than Sam Wilson.
When Steve handed me his shield all those years ago, I never imagined anyone else carrying on his legacy. It was always meant for him, a symbol of hope and justice in an ever-changing world. But now, as I watch Sam don the red, white, and blue suit with pride in his eyes, I know deep down that he is worthy of this honor.
Memories of Old
I still remember when Steve first introduced us - two soldiers from different eras brought together by fate. We fought side by side against Hydra during World War II; we were brothers on the battlefield. When Steve thought he lost everything after being frozen for decades, it was my duty to protect him as Winter Soldier.
But even after breaking free from Hydra's control and finding redemption alongside Steve as an Avenger – memories have always haunted me like ghosts from another life.
The Weight of Guilt
The weight of guilt hangs heavy upon my shoulders every day – reminders of my past actions under Hydra's influence linger in every corner of my mind like shadows waiting to consume me again.
I've done things... terrible things that no man should be forced to do or live with afterwards.I took lives without remorse or hesitation because they told me too.I want so desperately to right those wrongs but some scars take longer heal...
Even though people around believe in redemption,the path towards forgiveness often feels unattainable.But perhaps seeing Sam become our new Captain America will give me hope that there is light at the end tunnel.That maybe one day,I can find solace within myself,and finally let go off all demons which haunt

Sam has always been a true friend, loyal to the core. When he took on the mantle of Falcon, I knew that he had what it takes to be a hero. But this...this is something else entirely.
As Sam dons the iconic shield and becomes Captain America, there is an air of determination about him. He carries himself with grace and strength - qualities that Steve embodied so effortlessly.

Captain America isn't just a person; it's an idea – a symbol of hope in times when hope seems scarce. It represents standing up for what's right, even if it means going against the odds or facing your own demons head-on.
Steve once told me that "the price of freedom is high." And now, as I see Sam take up his legacy, those words ring truer than ever before.The weight on my shoulders feels lighter somehow.Maybe one day,I'll find peace knowing that someone else has taken up Steve’s mission.

The bond between us Avengers runs deep – forged through battles fought together and sacrifices made side by side.We've faced loss,tragedy,pain but we still stand united.Because at our core we all believe in something greater than ourselves.Sam becoming Captain America only strengthens our resolve,to carry out Steve’s vision,the shared dream which binds us together
I'm proud to call Sam Wilson my friend.I trust him with everything I have.He embodies everything good about humanity,and seeing him step into these new shoes fills me with pride.It tells me that no matter who you are or where you come from,you can make a difference.Everyday heroes exist,and they walk among us like ordinary people.But their hearts beat strong….
Moving Forward
As for myself,I will continue fighting alongside my friends,brothers-in-arms.As Winter Soldier,I was consumed by darkness,but now I strive towards redemption.To protect those who can't protect themselves.I may never fully escape my past,but I won't let it define me anymore.
I'll always remember Steve's words to me when he handed over the shield: "The world has changed, Bucky. I don’t think we can." But maybe, just maybe, Sam Wilson as Captain America will prove him wrong.
