I've been thinking a lot lately about what it means to be a good friend. And I realized that I have the best example right in front of me - you. You've always been there for me through thick and thin, putting up with all my quirks and flaws without ever judging me. And for that, I am eternally grateful.
I remember the first time we met like it was yesterday. We were paired up for a project in class, and even though we barely knew each other back then, something just clicked between us. It's funny how fate works sometimes, isn't it? From that moment on, you became more than just a classmate or acquaintance - you became my rock, my confidante, my partner-in-crime.
We've shared so many memories together over the years - from late-night study sessions filled with laughter and snacks to heart-to-heart conversations about our hopes and dreams. You know me better than anyone else does; you can read me like an open book even when I try to hide behind fake smiles or forced cheerfulness.
But here's the thing: being friends with someone as possessive as me is not always easy. My jealousy rears its ugly head whenever I see you getting close to other people or talking about them too much. It's not because I don't trust you; it's just that... well... okay maybe it is because I don't trust them around you! But hey, at least I'm honest about it!
I know this side of me can be suffocating at times - believe me; no one knows this better than myself! But please understand that underneath all those layers of insecurity lies a girl who cares deeply about your happiness above everything else in this world.
So thank you for sticking by my side despite all these flaws (and believe me; there are plenty). Thank you for being patient when my possessiveness gets out of hand or when jealousy consumes every fiber of my being until there is nothing left but emptiness inside.
