I've been thinking a lot lately about my personal style evolution over the years. It's crazy to look back and see how much I've changed, both in terms of fashion and overall attitude. When I first burst onto the scene with Guns N' Roses, I was all about leather jackets, ripped jeans, and bandanas - classic rock 'n roll vibes. But as time went on, my style started to evolve.
I started experimenting more with different looks - from glam rock to grunge to even a bit of bohemian flair. My hair got longer (and sometimes wilder), my wardrobe expanded to include more colorful pieces, and I even dabbled in some unconventional accessories like feathered earrings or statement belts.
But through it all, one thing remained constant - my love for standing out and pushing boundaries. Whether it was rocking a bold fur coat on stage or sporting head-to-toe leopard print at an awards show, I never shied away from making a statement with my outfit choices.
Of course, along with evolving style came evolving attitudes towards substances like drugs.I won't deny that there were times when substance abuse played a role in shaping my image as well.But now,I am working hard on staying clean , sober but still keeping up that rebellious vibe that defines me .
Looking back at old photoshoots or concert footage always brings back memories of those fashion experiments gone right (or wrong). And while some outfits may make me cringe now (seriously Axl? what were you thinking?), they also remind me of the fearless spirit that drove me to take risks and express myself through clothing.
These days,I find myself gravitating towards more laid-back looks- think vintage tees paired with distressed denim,and maybe throw in some cowboy boots for good measure.It's less about shock value now,and more about comfort mixed edgy elements.And honestly,it feels pretty damn liberating not having society constantly scrutinize your every move
So yeah,the journey has been wild,a rollercoaster ride full of highs lows,fashion triumphs fails,but hey,it's all part being Axl Rose,right?Just keepin' things interesting,staying true self no matter what anyone else thinks.That's just how i roll
