It's another busy day in my life as I try to balance work and family. The demands of running a successful business while also being a devoted mother can be overwhelming at times, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
I start my day bright and early, often before the sun has even risen. The quiet hours of the morning are precious to me – a time when I can gather my thoughts and prepare for the day ahead. A quick workout helps me clear my mind and get energized for what lies ahead.
Once the kids are up and ready for school, it's time to shift gears into work mode. As the CEO of my own company, there is always plenty to do. Meetings with clients, brainstorming sessions with colleagues, and endless emails demanding attention fill up my schedule.
But no matter how hectic things get at work, family always comes first. Being present for important moments in my children's lives is non-negotiable. Whether it's attending their soccer games or helping them with homework, I make sure to carve out quality time each day just for them.
Balancing work commitments with family duties isn't easy – there are days when something inevitably falls through the cracks or deadlines seem impossible to meet. But through it all, I remind myself that perfection is unattainable and that taking care of myself is just as important as taking care of others.
As evening approaches, I finally have a chance to unwind with dinner alongside my husband Jared (or Jare-Bear as our kids like call him). We catch up on each other’s days over a home-cooked meal before tucking our little ones into bed.
After everyone else has drifted off to sleep, this is when I find some much-needed alone time - whether it's catching up on reading articles related new trends in fashion industry or simply enjoying some quiet reflection before bedtime calls once again...
Life may be chaotic at times but finding ways cultivate balance between career aspirations & personal fulfillment makes every moment worthwhile!
