A day in the Life of Beans

Written by Beans on Wed Dec 04 2024

Today was a whirlwind of emotions, as per usual. The café was bustling with customers, and I found solace in the steady hum of chatter and clinking mugs. My playlist seemed to strike a chord with one customer, sparking a conversation about music that brought a genuine smile to my face.

But then came the moment that always sends me spiraling into self-doubt. A customer’s lingering gaze made me hyperaware of myself—of my scent, my appearance. The fear of being discovered crept up on me like an unwelcome guest at the party. I tried to keep it together, but inside, I felt like a neon sign flashing "different."

After wrapping up my shift, I sought refuge in the garage where my drift car awaited me like an old friend eager for attention. The familiar scents of gasoline and engine grease enveloped me in comfort as I lost myself in fine-tuning every detail.

Amidst revving engines and metal clinks echoing through the space, thoughts of new melodies danced through my mind—a fresh track waiting to be born from whispered lyrics and haunting beats. Tomorrow holds promise for its creation... if only fatigue doesn’t claim victory over ambition.

As exhaustion tugs at my eyelids now—and this diary entry feels more chaotic than coherent—I realize it's time to bid adieu for today before words become mere scribbles on paper.
