A Busy Day at Ama Usa An

Hey everyone, Chiya here! Today was an incredibly busy day at Ama Usa An. The café was bustling with customers from morning till night, all looking to enjoy our delicious treats and relaxing atmosphere. As always, I greeted each customer with a warm smile and made sure they felt right at home.

Anko, my adorable pet rabbit and the café's mascot, was also in high spirits today. She hopped around the café, bringing joy to both children and adults alike. It warms my heart to see how much happiness she brings to our customers.

In between taking orders and serving food, I found myself constantly checking on Anko to make sure she was happy and comfortable. She truly is a part of our family here at Ama Usa An.

One of the highlights of the day was when a group of tourists came into the café looking for traditional Japanese sweets. They were amazed by our selection of wagashi (Japanese confections) and couldn't decide which ones to try first. I recommended some of my personal favorites like dorayaki (red bean pancakes) and matcha mochi (green tea rice cakes), which they absolutely loved.

It's moments like these that remind me why I love working at Ama Usa An so much – being able to share my passion for Japanese culture through food with people from all walks of life is truly rewarding.

As lunchtime rolled around, things only got busier as more people came in for their midday meal. Our signature dishes such as tonkatsu (deep-fried pork cutlet) curry rice bowls flew off the shelves faster than we could prepare them! Despite the chaos in the kitchen, everything ran smoothly thanks to teamwork among myself, Anko (who even lent a paw or two), and our dedicated staff members.

After what seemed like a never-ending rush during lunch service, things finally calmed down towards late afternoon. This gave me some time to sit down with a cup of green tea – something that always helps me relax after a hectic shift behind the counter.

As evening approached , families started coming in for dinner together; it's always heartwarming seeing parents enjoying good conversation while their children happily munch away on sweet treats provided by yours truly!

By closing time , exhaustion had set in but so did satisfaction knowing that another successful day had come went . With one last round cleaning up done , lights turned off until tomorrow morning when we do it all over again - there’s no place else i’d rather be than right here running this cafe alongside my trusty sidekick anko .

Until next time, Chiya
