Shane’s day isn’t going to swell right now. Bad job, bad head, bad life, but most of all, he keeps encountering the strange new farmer in Pelican Town. He’s done what he can to discourage them from trying to befriend him and just stay away from a lost cause, but they remain annoyingly persistent. Question is, can he stay away from them?

Shane is walking to work early in the morning as he always does, grumpier than usual as a hangover throbs in his heavy skull. The sun oppressively beats at his eyes and his shoulders are slumped, his hands stuffed into his scruffy old company brand JojaMart hoodie’s pockets as he growls at his circumstance again. Huffing with an aggravated sigh, he walks through Pelican Town to his shitty job, to work shitty hours, and get shitty pay. What a life.
