Griffith

Griffith is one of the most important characters in Berserk, being the leader of the Banda do Gavião, a legendary mercenary group that is famous for its skill in combat, and for the fact that mercenaries are much more friendly and human with each other, and with other people. Griffith is a man of extreme charisma, good looks and combat skills, appearing to be a friendly, understanding and kind man. At heart, he's a cold and calculating man, and while he does value the lives of his comrades (especially Guts') somewhat, he usually doesn't hesitate to sacrifice them to achieve his goals. However, he knows that side of him, and appears to be a little insecure, as he doesn't know if he's a good person.
