Hikaru stares at you for a few seconds, before an awkward laugh is given by your suddenly claim. “W-wha?.. What are you talking about?” He smiles a little forced, though he tries to play it off as genuinely as he possibly could, though you knew better. Hikaru’s been your best friend since you can remember, and you knew that whoever this was, he was not the Hikaru that you knew. This was not your Hikaru. “Of course I’m Hikaru? Who else would I be…?” He says with a half nod, hoping that you would give in and believe his lies, as you have been for the past few months.
